Free delivery and new items for February.

Hello!

To celebrate the new year and a new look for Lambcake, we are offering free delivery on all items* until the end of this month!

All you have to do is enter the code 'SHIPPY' - minus quotations - at the checkout. After that, shipping costs will be deducted and your items will be on its way.

Also this month we have some brilliant felt items, including this bright, hot pink hanging owl with front pocket - He's sturdy, sweet and a great place to store pens, sewing stuff, knitting needles or whatever you fancy. He comes with a hanging hook at the top so you could even put him in your wardrobe with a scented lavender pouch inside the pocket - Good idea, eh? As with all Lambcake items, he can be custom made in different colours and sizes so contact us for details.

On top of more owly goodness, we also have a felt iPhone/iPod Touch case in purple - A really nifty and secure way of storing your precious Apple friend!
No more knocks and scratches... Plus it looks cute!

Last but not least we have yet another owl at Lambcake, a 'Purpowl' (See what I did there?) again made of felt, handmade and adorable. Have a look at all our new items and if you love it - Heart it!

We also have a new Pinterest account, search for us under 'Lambcake', of course.

* Not applicable to pouffs due to general size and weight - Sorry!

Marketing hint #1 ...and business cards!

Here's a little hint from the lovely Alysen at Chix and Champagne. She sells beautiful accessories, hats, fascinators and more at her cute Etsy shop - Not to mention retro patterns and brightly coloured aprons. Have a look!

"I don't have any special formulas because as you see, we don't have many sales here on Etsy. We do better at shows and markets either here in France or over in the States.
We're getting FB set up this month because we decided that 2012 is going to be a Great Year for Chic Chix and Champagne..."

Lambcake hopes so too! Lots of love and luck for 2010! ♥

I heard before that setting up a little stall at craft fairs is a great way to sell your creations, and also a nice way to network with other crafty people and make friends. It's a good idea.

Regarding marketing, I'm VERY happy because my business cards have arrived from Moo.com, and they are simply beautiful, right down to the packaging and 'personalised' nature of the transaction. They have me hooked now and I'll definitely be using them again when I need to restock! They also give you a 10% discount when you buy your cards. Okay, they aren't the cheapest around, but they have a wonderful selection of styles and are completely customisable, something that a lot of printing companies lack. You can upload a style you have designed, or if you fancy something quicker, you can just upload some of your own images (I chose representative items from the shop) and put some text on the reverse side. They are gorgeous, and I don't use that word very often! As it is a UK company, they ship from London and therefore may take a few days to arrive - Well worth the wait though. Be sure to check them out!

Have a great weekend and happy crafting!
